Full-Time Trailer Colorist

Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Run client supervised color-grading sessions creating and finishing theatrical trailers.
- Update color and editorial changes live with clients in room.
- Advise clients on color, film & video delivery formats and other technical issues.
- Work with stereographers on 3D alignment, convergence and color correction issues.
- QC film elements and interact with lab and vendors.
Required Skills:
- Complete technical grasp of digital color grading process.
- Experience interacting with film laboratories, evaluating elements and knowledge of lab terminology and techniques.
- Extensive experience with color correction systems: LUSTRE, Baselight, DaVinci or equivalent platforms.
- Knowledge of Sound Production processes and appropriate element deliverables.
- Understanding of proper use of LUTs and other Color Science processes.
- Ability to work in an extremely time sensitive and high pressure work environment.
- Extensive knowledge of video equipment (decks, monitors, reticule generators…)
- Knowledge of stereography terms and principles.
- Ability to identify and correct stereographic abnormalities, artifacts and errors.
- Basic knowledge of command-line/shell interface.
- Understanding of Academy and industry standards.
